PALMETTO, Fla. (KABC) -- A Florida woman got a big shock when she found an uninvited guest inside her home - a 6-foot-long alligator.
The alligator was waiting for Alexis Dunbar inside her Palmetto home over the weekend. Dunbar ran outside but immediately became concerned because her cats were still inside with the gator. The cats were shaken up but unhurt. Officials said the gator got inside the house through a doggie door. Dunbar said she is going to have trouble sleeping for a while.
